Walk MS Charleston 2014

As you may or may not know, finding a cure for Multiple Sclerosis is a cause that is near and dear to my heart. I've decided to participate in my first-ever MS fundraiser this weekend: Walk MS Charleston.  If you are interested in furthering MS research, programs and supporting families and individuals with MS, please consider making a contribution toward my fundraising goal - you can do it with a few clicks here

The walk takes place in just a few days on March 29.  If you can donate - THANK YOU, it is truly and deeply appreciated.  And if you can't, send me some good vibes as you wake up Saturday morning! I have never been to an event like this and it makes my stomach flutter a little to think about being with a bunch of people in my shoes.

Here's to living well with MS :)

Castillo San Felipe del Morro, Old San Juan

We wandered our way here at sunset on a Sunday to find dozens and dozens of people flying kites in this unreal setting.  It seemed to be mostly locals with their kids and dogs; made for a lovely end to our first weekend in town.

Liquid Salt

As you may or may not recall, I had the honor of being featured in an online surf mag called Liquid Salt a while back - I think it was one of their first interviews!

Since 2009, the magazine has grown considerably and I'm stoked they're trying to expand via a Kickstarter project.  I want to help them spread the word - if you're into surfing, independent publishing, ad-free content, the ocean, check out the magazine and then head over to Kickstarter to see their project page.  And, if you're in a position to help them reach their goal, even better - every bit counts.   I think it's important to support indie pubs like this who are helping celebrate and document pieces of our culture that might not otherwise have this attention, don't you?

Levi's San Juan

I would recommend the portraits, but not the mofongo.
